Daryl Hannah in person!

IMGkillbillblueiguanaLast night I attended the Green Summit in Dallas, Texas, and was lucky enough to attend the private reception before hand where my wife and I, and many coworkers got the chance to meet Daryl Hannah. Hats off to Ms Hannah. She was extremely nice and shared a few personal stories about Dancing at the Blue Iguana and Kill Bill 2, which I will be sure to share soon in reviews, as I am ready to watch those films again after meeting her.

Rupert Everett

Last Friday brought a surprise in the mail. Had given up on this one. Received Rupert Everett (The Importance of Being Earnest) who was doing a play in New York. It is kind of disturbing that it was inscribed to Jim, Love. If indeed that is what it says….he pretty much makes a few lines and curves on everything. I think the play ended last week or ends this week.

Address I used.

Sam S. Shubert Theatre, c/o Blithe Spirit, 225 W. 44th Street, New York, NY 10036everett

Again, two more successes from the same playhouse! Marcia Gay-Harden winner of a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for Pollock, and Jeff Daniels from The Squid and the Whale and Fly Away Home. Living in Dallas, I love how Marcia Gay-Harden signed the photo…to a fellow Texan! She currently lives in Southlake, Texas. Have tried getting Jeff Daniels several times, finally with a success!

Susan Sarandon and Geoffrey Rush Autographs

I have had very good luck sending autograph requests to playhouses. You are less likely to get a secretarial or auto-pen signature, and more than likely getting a genuine signature from the celebrity. There is a play going on in New York now, EXIT THE KING, and very proud to get two of the stars. Susan Sarandon, Best Actress Oscar winner for Dead Man Walking, and Geoffrey Rush Best Actor Oscar winner for Shine. The play runs through July 19th.

Exit the King, Ethel Barrymore Theatre, 243 W. 47th Street, NY, NY 10036
